Diethylene Glycol Butyl Ether (DB), also known as Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether (DEGBE), is a clear, colorless glycol ether with strong solvency, a relatively high boiling point and low evaporation rate. It is widely used as a solvent and coupling component in coatings, inks, cleaners and other industrial formulations.
